Program Overview

Tyndale University College & Seminary offers a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Religious Studies and Bachelor of Religious Education (BRE) degrees in youth ministry, pastoral ministry and general ministry. These degrees equip students for both ministry inside and outside the church, as well as graduate studies. BA degrees are four year degrees, while BRE degrees take three years. For students wishing to transfer, a variety of transfer credit options are available. Each degree includes practical training and theological courses, from faculty who have studied, pastored and taught around the world.

The Religious Studies department is located on the main campus of Tyndale University College & Seminary. Undergraduate students enjoy full access to the extensive resources of the William J. Horsey Library. It holds over 120,000 items, 7,000 bound periodical volumes (including microforms) and AV resources, and has particular strengths in Church History and New Testament studies in English. Special collections include the J. Percival Baldwin Puritan Collection, the Denominational Reference Collection, and the Church Resource Centre. As well, a number of colloquiums and seminars take place on campus, open to students.
