Buildings & Facilities

  • NAIT's EnCana Centre for Power Engineering provides a level of hands-on training not available anywhere else in Canada. The Centre houses such cutting-edge equipment as a digital simulator (a computer system that imitates an industrial boiler connected to a turbine generator), a fuel cell lab, and a number of steam and gas turbines
  • NAIT Spartan Centre for Instrumentation Technology houses advanced equipment specific to the oil and gas industry, including a two-storey distillation tower that simulates processes found in petro-chemical refineries
  • NAIT HP Centre is Western Canada's leading facility for studies in information and communications technology
