CAREER COLLEGES IN NOVA SCOTIA AT A GLANCE
Nova Scotia is one of Canada's smaller provinces, known for the beauty of its landscape and the richness of its history and culture. With over 7, 500 kilometres of coastline, Nova Scotia is the gateway to Canada and has welcomed explorers and immigrants since the 17th century. Diversity is therefore one of the province's main qualities: the mix of Acadian, Celtic, Gaelic and Mi'kmaq heritage; the contrast between small rural towns and bustling urban centres; the focus on both land- and sea-based industries mean Nova Scotia holds a wealth of opportunity. This diversity of industry and society is also reflected in Nova Scotia's career college, vocational and trade programs. From oilrigs to audio engineering, heavy equipment to holistic health, Nova Scotia's career colleges are committed to training students for any job they want to pursue.
