Lakeland College was founded in 1913 and has campuses in Vermilion, Lloydminster and a learning centre in Strathcona County. It is Canada's only interprovincial college, serving students from both Alberta and Saskatchewan, and is home to "Fire, etc", an internationally recognized integrated emergency response training facility.
Lakeland's programs are wide-ranging, offering students opportunities to pursue their interests in everything from environmental sciences, to the performing arts, and is home to an 800 acre student-run farm.
