Mount Saint Vincent University

Mission Statement:

Mount Saint Vincent University has a 135-year academic tradition of providing progressive and unique degree programs. While larger universities will often have a hundred or more students per class, the Mount--with its small class sizes--is committed to the transformations that occur for students in a rich, intimate learning environment where professors' instructional methodologies are tailored to their students and discipline. The Mount is also nationally recognized as one of the top three universities in Canada for Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council grants. While the Mount has a long-standing commitment to the advancement of women, both women and men from across Canada and 60 countries around the world take advantage of the University's on-site and distance programs.
